StudyLock 1.49: redesigned Study Groups, Clubs, and smarter social learning

StudyLock 1.49 is our biggest back-to-school social update so far. This release completely redesigns Study Groups and introduces new ways for students to connect, collaborate, and stay motivated together while still keeping focused study at the center of the experience.

The update brings a fresh new Study Groups interface, introduces Clubs, adds real-time chat, lets students share completed quizzes, and includes important bug fixes and performance improvements to keep everything running smoothly.

Study Groups are completely redesigned

The biggest headline in 1.49 is a full redesign of Study Groups. The experience now has a much fresher look and a smoother overall flow, making it easier to navigate and more enjoyable to use on a daily basis.

This matters because Study Groups are where students come together around shared learning. A clearer, more polished design helps that collaboration feel more natural instead of buried under friction.

Introducing Clubs inside Study Groups

Version 1.49 also introduces Clubs. Students can now create their own club or join others within their Study Group, making it easier to connect with like-minded learners around common goals, classes, or study styles.

Clubs create smaller spaces within the larger group structure, which helps the experience feel more personal and more relevant. Instead of one broad community stream, students can gather in more focused circles.

Real-time chat for faster collaboration

StudyLock now includes real-time chat, making it possible to start conversations, share ideas, and collaborate instantly with club members.

This adds an important social layer to the app. Students no longer need to leave the StudyLock environment just to ask a question, react to something, or coordinate with others. Conversations can happen directly where studying is already taking place.

Share quizzes you have completed

Another big addition is quiz sharing. Students can now post the quizzes they have completed so that others can learn from them, practice with them, and challenge themselves alongside the rest of the group.

This helps turn individual work into something communal. Instead of a quiz ending when one student finishes it, the result can become useful study material for others too.
