Introducing StudyLock for Teachers
The biggest headline in 1.54 is the arrival of StudyLock for Teachers. For the first time, teachers can create structured study plans and teacher-guided sessions through a dedicated web portal, making it easier to guide students with more clarity and control.
This expands StudyLock’s mission beyond supporting individual students. The platform still helps students block distractions and study more intelligently, but now it also opens the door for teachers to actively shape and support that process in a more organized way.
StudyLock for Teachers turns StudyLock into more than a student tool. It becomes a bridge between student focus and teacher guidance, helping smarter education happen on both sides.
A dedicated portal for structured study plans
Through the teacher portal, educators can create structured study plans and build teacher-guided sessions that feel more intentional than generic homework or one-size-fits-all study advice.
The goal is to help teachers bring clarity and direction into the learning process while still using StudyLock’s core strengths: focus, structure, and intelligent study support.
Smarter quiz generation
Version 1.54 also improves the intelligence behind quiz generation. The AI now does a better job making sure quiz questions are generated strictly from your study materials, reducing off-topic questions and keeping the assessment grounded in what you actually studied.
Answer evaluation for multiple-choice questions is also more accurate and consistent, which helps quizzes feel more trustworthy and better aligned with the learning experience.
A clearer pre-activation summary screen
Before activating StudyLock, users now see a pre-activation summary screen that clearly shows what the upcoming study session includes. This makes the activation flow more transparent and helps users understand exactly what is about to happen before they commit.
That may sound like a small addition, but clarity matters a lot at the moment of activation. A better summary reduces uncertainty and makes the setup flow feel more confident and deliberate.
Better Blocked Apps insights
Blocked Apps Insights also received important fixes and improvements in 1.54. We fixed an issue where random apps could sometimes appear in Insights, and top blocked apps are now counted correctly.
The overview has also been expanded to show your top 5 blocked apps instead of just 3, giving you a better understanding of where your attention is most often being pulled away.
Redesigned Settings and broader UI improvements
This update continues polishing the overall interface with refined layouts and a fully redesigned Settings page for a smoother experience.
Combined with additional UI improvements throughout the app, these changes help StudyLock feel cleaner, easier to navigate, and more aligned with the rest of the product as it grows.
Better localization across supported languages
Localization was improved too, with better translations and stronger text consistency across supported languages. This makes the app feel more intentional in everyday use and reduces the rough edges that appear when wording is inconsistent from one screen to another.
It is a quieter improvement than a new feature, but it matters a lot in making the experience feel complete.
