StudyLock 1.56 brings one of our most meaningful additions yet. This update is about turning study effort into something bigger than a completed session. With Study with Impact, the time and consistency you build inside StudyLock can now help unlock real support for education in the real world.
At the same time, 1.56 introduces a brand-new Study Room experience — a more social and live shared space where you can see study presence in real time, follow daily check-ins, and stay connected to a wider community built around focused study.
Alongside those bigger additions, this release also improves localization, fixes a frustrating setup issue, and continues refining the app with broader UI and performance improvements.
Introducing Study with Impact
The biggest addition in StudyLock 1.56 is Study with Impact. This feature lets students contribute Study Points and help unlock real donations that support education through building schools, training teachers, and backing community-led programs.
The idea behind it is simple but powerful: time spent studying can stand for something beyond your own progress. Focus and consistency still help you personally — but now they can also contribute toward something meaningful for other students and communities too.
Study with Impact gives StudyLock a deeper purpose. It connects the personal act of studying with a broader educational mission, so each focused session can feel like part of something bigger.
A new Study Room built around live shared presence
Version 1.56 also introduces a completely new Study Room: a live shared space where you can see study presence in real time, follow daily check-ins, view community activity, and track shared donation progress together.
Instead of studying in total isolation, Study Room makes StudyLock feel more connected. The goal is not to create noise or distractions, but to add a lightweight sense of shared momentum — the feeling that other students are showing up too, checking in, and building progress alongside you.
Daily check-ins and community activity
Inside the new Study Room, daily check-ins and community activity make consistency more visible. This gives students another source of motivation: not only seeing their own habits build over time, but also seeing the wider community staying active.
That makes StudyLock feel less like a tool you open alone and more like a study environment with a living rhythm around it.
Tracking shared donation progress together
Because Study with Impact and Study Room are connected, students can also track shared donation progress together. This makes the impact side of the update feel tangible instead of abstract — you can actually see progress building over time as a community.
It turns a donation feature into something more motivating and visible, tying focus, habit, and impact into one system.
Improved localizations
StudyLock 1.56 also adds missing localizations for system messages and daily motivational notifications. This helps the experience feel more complete and polished for users across supported languages, especially in the moments where incomplete translations can make an app feel inconsistent.
Localization work is often less visible than a major feature, but it matters a lot in making the product feel intentional and reliable every day.
A fix for the final setup step
We also fixed an issue where tapping Next on the final StudyLock setup step could sometimes open an empty screen. That kind of friction is especially frustrating because it happens at the exact moment a user is trying to finish onboarding and start using the app.
Fixing it helps StudyLock feel more dependable right from the beginning of the user journey.
More UI improvements and overall optimization
Beyond the headline additions, 1.56 continues the broader work of refining the app. This release includes further UI improvements, layout refinements, and overall optimizations that make StudyLock feel cleaner and smoother in everyday use.
These kinds of changes often do not stand out in a screenshot, but they add up to a noticeably better experience over time.
From focus to real-world impact
StudyLock began as a way to help students take control of their attention and study with more intention. With 1.56, that mission starts expanding into something wider: focus can still help you learn better, but it can also contribute to something tangible beyond yourself.
That is what makes this update so meaningful. It does not just improve how StudyLock works — it adds a stronger reason for why it exists.
